Not really a biography but a bit of a showcase for this blues legend. We see just maybe 2 minutes of him playing, the rest are composition shots, some of an apartment, and some great panning shots of black people on the street, most of them having the expression of "Why you pointing that camera at me?" haha

A Captivating Time Capsule
I could write on extensively, about all the reasons this film was such a joy to watch. In an effort at succinctness, I'll simply point out the nice print quality, sensitive photography/photo montage, and of course the exquisite control that Blind Gary Davis had over his voice and instrument. It all comes together to deliver an enthralling short subject, that will take you to another time and place.
The only possible complaint I can find with this video, is that I wish it had been longer. I would have liked to have stayed in that other time and place a bit longer.
